- Does Cheaphotels.com.au charge a booking fee?
- We never charge a booking fee.
- What is the Cancellation/Change Policy?
- Cheaphotels.com.au understands that sometimes plans change, therefore we do not charge a change or cancellation fee. However, the hotel may impose a penalty to its customers that we are required to pass on. The hotel's individual cancellation policy can be found under the hotel's "Room & Rates" page.
Low Price Promise
"Low Price Promise" reservations booked through Cheaphotels.com.au and Interactive Affiliate Network are guaranteed to be the lowest rate you can find. If you find a lower rate available for the same hotel and the same dates, you must contact us prior to the hotel's cancellation deadline of your "Low Price Promise" reservation. After verification of the lower rate, we will, at our choice, either match the lower rate or cancel the reservation without a cancellation fee. This low price promise only applies to rates indicated as "Low Price Promise." It does not apply to special events such as New Year's Eve, Grand Finals, Mardi Gras, etc.

- What are the requirements for claiming the Low Price Promise?
- You must have already booked a prepaid reservation identified as a "Special Internet Rate". The lower rate must be available for booking with identical specifications of the original request (e.g. same hotel, same room type, and same date). The completed Low Price Promise form must be submitted prior to the hotel's cancellation deadline.
- If I am able to find a lower rate, how do I contact you?
- Complete the online Low Price Promise form below.
- How long does it take to receive a response?
- During normal business hours we will respond via email within 4 hours, or if outside of normal business hours, we will reply the next business day.
- How and when is the credit issued to me?
- Credit is issued directly to the credit card provided at the time of booking. The credit normally takes between 7 to 10 business days to appear on your credit card statement.
